Since October 2024, Rikkeisoft has officially made its way to South Korea with its subsidiary placed in Sparkplus Gangnam, 327 Gangnam-daero, Seocho District, Seoul, South Korea. With the expansion to this promising IT market, our Korean subsidiary, RKSoft, will represent Rikkeisoft’s commitment to spread the value and enhance collaboration with Korean businesses.
Currently Vice President of Rikkeisoft, Mrs. Phan Thi Lan Anh, will take the role as the CEO of RKSoft. Nurturing the will to explore a new potential market with resilience and determination, Mrs. Lan Anh will capitalize her strong business acumen to manage our Korean team to fulfill all goals excellently.
Recognized as a global leader in technology and innovation, South Korea is home to prominent companies and a burgeoning startup ecosystem, with its IT service market reaching around $43.1 billion in 2022 and an anticipated compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.3% through 2026. According to Deloitte’s report, up to 41% of Korean companies indicate plans to allocate more than 20% of their budgets to IT transformation initiatives.
The Korea Ministry of Science and ICT 2022 report has shown the Korean government initiatives to further enhance this landscape, with projections indicating an investment of approximately $33 billion in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by 2025, together with ambitious plans to establish 30,000 smart factories.
With a robust talent pool of over 1.5 million IT professionals, according to OECD, and high awareness for rising cybersecurity threats, Korea has proved to be a potential market for the development of IT outsourcing. Inheriting the vision to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to meet clients’ unique needs and challenges, RKSoft aims to drive innovation, enhance customer satisfaction, and accelerate its development in Korea.
