On April 22nd, CMMI Institute approved Rikkeisoft’s appraisal for the CMMI level 3 certificate (version 2.0). This is the latest version released in 2018, giving businesses a more advanced process for analysis/assessment and faster adaptation to new changing conditions.
From March 27 to April 4, RikkRikkeisoft completed the assessment from March 27 to April 4. The results showed that Rikkeisoft achieved “satisfied” results in 19 key practice areas of the CMMI level 3 standard version 2.0.
CMMI level 3 is one of five “Maturity Levels” in the CMMI. Level 3 is known as the “Defined” level. It indicates that processes are well characterized and are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Hue, Project Manager, stated that applying CMMI step by step into the business creates a professional working environment and international standards when employees’ working styles and cultures are improved in each project under the coordination and guidance of PQA and PM.
CMMI Level 3 appraisal affirms Rikkeisoft’s capacity in production, thus enhancing customer credibility. This helps Rikkeisoft maintain the trust of partners and customers and attract more potential ones in the future. From the customer’s perspective, a company that achieves CMMI level 3 also demonstrates its ability to provide cost-effective and high-quality solutions thanks to the control process throughout each development phase.
According to the CMMI Institute’s survey in 2015, half of the surveyed companies needed to have standard processes. 50% of companies needed to have process guidance documents; 33% of organizations had difficulties in operating plans and adjusting when necessary, and 54% of organizations did not measure rising issues.
