Phil’s extensive experience includes serving as Macy’s SVP of Infrastructure and Operations, where he successfully led technology operations and strategic outsourcing relationships. Notably, he spearheaded the integration and conversion of major acquisitions, propelling Macy’s growth and success, with acquisitions totaling $22 billion.
As the former CIO of The Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Phil significantly reduced operational costs, amounting to millions of dollars, paving the way for modernization efforts. By transforming the customer experience, The Exchange secured its position as a top-ranked online retailer, catering to over 18 million customers and capitalizing on valuable customer data.
During his tenure as CTO of The Sportsman’s Warehouse, Phil’s visionary initiatives propelled the retailer to new heights. By modernizing their website and systems, Sportsmans.com emerged as a leading eCommerce destination, experiencing a remarkable surge in total revenue by 200%.
As the current CIO/CISO of Leaving the Harbor Advisory, Phil manages corporate strategy and growth while providing their clients with digital transformation and security consultancy.
