The Challenges
Like many manufacturing companies, the customer’s daily operations relied heavily on paper documents, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems. Production reports, equipment operation reports, maintenance records, inspection results, and approval workflows were managed independently by different departments, making information difficult to consolidate and even more difficult to analyze.
Another major challenge was the highly customized reporting structure required by different production teams. The customer needed to preserve existing reporting practices while consolidating production and equipment data into a centralized management platform. Without real-time visibility, managers often spent significant time collecting data manually before they could understand factory performance, identify production bottlenecks, or investigate equipment downtime.
